Tidewater Trader September 15, 2021 Page 39 Chesapeake Bay Striped Bass Continues August 1 st through December 10 th The 2021 summer- fall season in the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal tributaries resumed August 1 st and continues through December 10 th . Anglers can keep one striped bass per person, per day, with a minimum size of 19 inches. During a chartered fishing trip, the captain or mate would not be permitted to land or possess striped bass for personal consumption. The December 11th- 31st season will provide for catch- and-release only. All other species of ducks may be taken up to the six duck limit. There is no open season for harlequin ducks.
