Kent County Residents may drop off computer equipment for FREE
at the Nicholson Drop-Off Center, 23750 Larney Nick Road, Chestertown, MD 21620.
When:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Sunday
CLOSED
No:
Business, Industrial or Commercial Computers. NO Televisions or Appliances.
Large Loads:
Residents with large loads must contact the Environmental Operations Division for special arrangements.
What Happens to My Computer:
Computers are sent to MOU Enterprises, Inc. located in Baltimore, Maryland. The computers are tested,
secure data destruction performed, reused if possible, and if not reusable, dismantled so the lead and
other toxic and valuable materials are recovered and recycled. Visit MOU’s website for additional
