Harmony on the Bay Auditioning
Singers for Musical Comedy Show
On the heels of their successful performance at the A Cappella Extravaganza at
the Avalon Theater in Easton on Sunday, June 10
th
, Harmony on the Bay women’s
chorus will be auditioning experienced
singers to participate in their concert/
comedy show in November.
“The Avalon Theater concert went
even better than we’d hoped,” said the
group’s director Roni Gapetz. “Sing-
ing with three other terrific a cappella
groups – the Pride of DelMarVa, Gos-
pel Souls, and the Bay Country Cho-
rus – ensured that we brought our best
voices. The show was incredibly tight
and everyone was entertained!”
Harmony on the Bay is a female a cappella chorus that is chartered by Sweet
Adelines International and rehearses on Tuesday nights at the Ruthsburg Com-
munity Hall. The chorus includes members from Queen Anne’s, Kent, Caroline,
Talbot, and Wicomico counties in Maryland, as well as Sussex County in Dela-
ware.
Over the month of July, the chorus will be auditioning singers for a musical com-
edy show in November. Singers should have some experience singing harmony
and should be available for Tuesday night rehearsals.
For more information call Dale Huffman at 301-512-3288.
